In October of 2019 I took over the York Theatre Musical Theatre Training Program (MTTP). At the York we do a 3 week Summer Intensive for Middle and High School students in July, and a 10 day / 2 week Winter College “Bridge” Intensive for college students and recent college grads, in January.
Winter Intensive, 2020
was our kickoff Intensive, and it was truly incredible. We had students from all over the country, and all over the world, who became a company in days and blew us all away with the quality of their work. Stills (and video!) in the slideshow above.
Summer Intensive, 2020
brought us a new set of pandemic challenges: And we responded, and made something beautiful out of zoom sessions and thin air.
